About Our Shop

Robert Alvarez founded Merced Water Heater Repair to handle the steady demand for reliable hot water in Merced County homes. With deep local roots, he works directly in neighborhoods like Downtown Merced, North Merced, and South Merced, where many houses date back decades and see heavy use from the hot-summer Mediterranean climate with its dry summers that push systems harder.

The work often involves older tanks and piping common in these areas, plus occasional calls from nearby Atwater and Turlock when residents need fast water heater repair or water heater installation. As an owner-operated service, every job gets hands-on attention without layers of scheduling or hand-offs.

Clear communication starts at the first call and continues through the work, with hours set at Mon–Fri 8am–6pm and Sat 9am–2pm to match when most homeowners are available.

I grew up fixing things around my family's place in North Merced and started Merced Water Heater Repair after neighbors near Applegate Park kept calling for help with failing units in older homes. Working across Merced County showed me how the hot-summer Mediterranean climate with dry summers speeds up sediment buildup in tanks, especially in South Merced and Downtown Merced houses close to the Merced County Courthouse and Merced Theatre. I handle water heater repair and water heater installation calls from those neighborhoods out to Atwater and Turlock, where the same soil and water conditions show up. You can reach me Mon–Fri 8am–6pm, Sat 9am–2pm.
